Subject: Lance v. Ivan on d'Huez?
Thinking ahead to Stage 16, 15.5 km individual time trial. Basso has done
some great climbing in Stages 12 and 13 staying man-to-man with Armstrong.
But how will they do climbing individually on Alpe d'Huez?

Here's how they did on Mount Ventoux (21 km ITT) last month at Dauphine:

1 Iban Mayo (Spa) Euskaltel-Euskadi          55m 51.49s
5 Lance Armstrong (USA) US Postal            +1m 57.89s
29 Ivan Basso (Ita) Team CSC                 +6m 43.87s
30 Thomas Voeckler (Fra) La Boulangere       +6m 47.88s

Ullrich didn't do Ventoux. At 7 min down now, he's just about toast anyway.
