Fuck off, newbie. Please take your LANCE fixation somewhere else.
Actually, my worry is Frank Schleck. Not that we have anything other
than a TT and a sprinter stage to judge, but he seems a bit less than
focused on this race so far. Glad I have him listed below the salt on
my predictions, but I'm thinking maybe he isn't taking the talk about
him being Andy's Super Domestique so well. He looked disinterested
yesterday and inattentive today. Just my opinion...

Just someone on two wheels...
Lighten up Kurgan, there's kids in this forum and we don't need all of
the harsh language.
Newbie, I know.... It's so gosh darn annoying when Lance doesn't win
everything all the time.
Lance should be able to beat Phelps in swimming and in basketball
Lance should be able to beat that black guy that raped the white girl
in Colorado and fucked her bloody slut filled ass into pieces.
Gee golly whiz Lance should even be the world champ in chutes in
ladders, maybe even the world greatest cocksucker? Who knows what
Lance can't do better than everyone else?
He only has to try. And I guess so far... with two stages down, he
really doesn't give a fuck.
Thanks for looking out for the kids.
I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him head up the road
on a stage or two with lots of KOM points at stake. Which
would serve the double purpose of locking down polka dots
and forcing Alberto's rivals to expend energy chasing,
setting them up for an attack at a critical point.

What are you talking about, everybody here has been around since
before the Internet. All the kids are on forums with actual posting
software and avatars.

he has a point. the kids have a thing called facebook and have never
known life without a robust internet ...
Actually Lance did better than I thought. He beat 170 riders. Only 9
finished ahead of him. Not too shabby.

That's just the thing, though - despite the likelihood that Lance is a
bit too long in the tooth to contend, there's enough doubt about that in
the peleton / DS caravan that I just can't see him being allowed in a
break that isn't immediately chased down.
If his target is really the polka dots, he might need to lose a big
chunk of time before those KOM-rich stages.
Seriously, is there another realistic scenario where he gets away early
in a stage without having a balls-out chase behind by the contenders?
Or will they be confident enough that he'll die late in the stage?

I'm losing it. I can't tell anymore when someone is joking in this
group. (Armstrong placed 80th today).

Not to mention that it is pretty clear that if he did do that we'd have
another LeMond/Hinault type of setup with Contador not trusting Lance for
one split second.
I can remember the Internet before the web when the closest approximation
was gopher.
What about Chuck Norris. Surely he could beat up LANCE and his mom.
That's a nice comparison. The man-love surrounding Norris is of mythic
proportions. Seriously, though, he's almost 70. There's also a group of
people who dislike Norris because he couldn't act his way out of a paper
bag.
