"Vino" beat George Hincapie by 13 seconds, beat Leaphimer by 6 more.
Gerdeman's coach owns a watch or is that to close to call or beyond
call? And remember that great team photo of Mayo and friends in
yellow? 13 seconds!
GO GEORGE!

Yesterday was one of the most exciting days I have seen quite some
time. This shows that cycling is moving to a new generation and
younger stars are finally beginning to emerge. Alberto Contador and
Chistophe Moreau were vey impressive. was supriised that Moreau did
not concentrate on catching Rasmussen. While those constant attacks
were exciting they wasted a lot of energy.

Quite some time: In, what, maybe 12 stages?

5 stages. Cancellera's last kilometer was more exciting than all of stage 8.

It's refreshing to know that cycling has a new generation of promising
riders who can climb.

Every new generation does. I wasn't concerned.
