As much as like Cadel I find this statement to be ironic. Cadel Evans
has yet to launch any major attacks on Vincenzo Nibali. Cadel Evans
has no choice but to attack Nibali if he as any chance of winning. At
this point I think Cadel's chances of winning are less that 5% if
that. In the end he has rode a great Giro, but Nibali is stronger.

Girod'Italia win not impossible, says Cadel Evans

"CADEL Evans hasn't given up hope of overthrowing Italian race leader
Vincenzo Nibali to win this year's Giro d'Italia."

Evans will be satisfied with the second step on the podium.

That' been one of his biggest failings - his thinking that
it's better to come in second than to take a chance of not
being on the podium chasing first place which borders
on being cowardly

Evans is no Eddy Mercks. He's not got the mental
fortitude. He lacks that win at all cost attitude. He's
a wimpy man.

After todays TT Cadel is 4 minutes behind Nibali. The only chance
Cadel has if Nibali has a major crash. Cadel Evans statement has made
him look foolish.
