Antonio Negrini was born on this date in 1903. He died on
September 25, 1994.

The Italian rider stood on the podium of the Giro d'Italia and won
one of cycling's five monuments.

Negrini was 3rd in the 1927 Giro d锟斤拷Italia behind Alfredo Binda of
Italy and Giovanni Brunero of Italy.

Negrini also won the Tour of Lombardy Classic in 1932.

He is number 377 on our All-Time list of Riders.

Leon Van Bon was born on this date in 1972.

The Dutch rider won a one-day Classic and stood on the podium of
the World Championship Road Race.

Van Bon won the Hamburg Cyclassics in 1998.

He was also 3rd in the 1997 World Championship Road Race behind
Laurent Brochard of France and Bo Hamburger of Denmark.

Van Bon is number 442 on our All-Time list of Riders.
