We are about to purchase a trailer for our nine month old daughter. We have
narrowed our search done to either a Schwinn or Winchester trailer. Does
anyone have any advice or experience with either trailer? Thanks to all in
advance!

Jennifer

You might want to check out the summary of trailer responses I put together a
while ago.  Someone kindly put it on their web-site at
http://danenet.wicip.org/bcp/bike_trailers.html.

A recent issue of Bicycling Magazine rated the Schwinn 1st and the Burley
2nd... and was quite complimentary to both.   Sounds like you cannot go
wrong with either of them.  Good luck and please  post your results after
your purchase.

I'm looking for a bike trailer for towing our two smallest children.
When they pedal, we make 1 hour rides and go oh about 1 mile.  It would
be nice for their older brother and mom and dad to get out and move
sometimes.  Plus one is really too small to ride her 13" bike and keep
up.   Any suggestions/experiences?

Thanks in advance.

A summary of bike trailer information from the 'net that I put together about
a year ago has been put on a web-page at
http://danenet.wicip.org/bcp/bike_trailers.html.

Hope it helps.

Get a Trailbike (or other brands I can't) remember;  A kiddy bike with one
wheel. It attatches to your seat post like a trailer & lets the kid pedal
(though I don't suppose they would contribute a lot). You'd need one for each
dependant (attatched each to one primary care-giver unit).

They look like more fun for the kid than to be hauled around inches from the
ground like a load of firewood.

Better yet, get a copy of this month's Bicycling - they have a review of
several.
