I have the opportunity to purchase an old Cinelli, and need some help
identifying it and figuring what it is worth.

The fellow that owns it is the original owner. It was purchased at
Kopp's in Princeton, NJ, who at the time was the importer of Cinelli.
It was purchased in '72, and has the original Nuovo Record components on
it, including the RD which is in fact a "pat 72".

Other than the Cinelli transfers, and a Columbus sticker, there is no
model, Special Corsa, Super Corsa, etc. on the frame. The paint is
original BTW, and the frame is in pretty great condition.

Anyone know how to figure out the model and the value?

TIA

Len

I've owned 2 Cinelli's from that era, a Super Corsa and a Special Corsa.
The main visible difference between the two is that the Special Corsa has
fender eyelets. There are other differences, but that's the easy one. As
for value, if it's in mint condition, it'll probably be more than you want
to pay but less than it's worth (how's that for evasive?).
