I have a Socata Trinidad TB20 and am having a weird problem with my compass.
It is 10-15 degrees off on easterly headings, right on westerly. The shop
tried to adjust the compass, and even told me how I can try adjustments
airborne. Nothing seems to work. Someone mentioned that it might be a
de-gausing problem, which has been common for Bonanaza A36s.

Anybody have any experience in this? Thanks...Bob

Could be. Is your compass in it`s original, factory position? Is it near
ant electrical equip. or the Tacho?

take the compass to a different shop, find out exactly how they tried to adjust
it, be wary of anyone trying to sell you a new indicator it just may be a minor
bug in your compass system

I am a marine compass adjustor. I can probably give you some advice about
your compass, but I don't know what the problem is.
