(USA) FSDO inspections of Experimental gliders 
  I was recently contacted by my local FSDO (Scottsdale AZ) with a request to do a ramp inspection of my glider. He explained that starting this year, he is required to do "a ramp inspection and records review of every aircraft that is operating on an air racing and/or exhibition special airworthiness certificate".... more »

Darwin 
  Just got this email, will try to find out what the width of the runway is. It's good news for those of us that sometimes cross Death Valley to get to the Sierra or Inyos. NC Wave Camp 
  We have had interest in a Wave Camp in the southeast this winter. The tentative dates are February 20th through the 28th. We will base at Shiflet Field (9A9) at Marion, NC.
