Thanks Stu.
I am surprised at the vibration. Perhaps it was out of balance. No 3
blade ship should have anything like the vibration of a 2 blader.
The thing that keeps me away from the Safari (apart from being
prohibited from spending by my wife!) is the low cruise speed and the
lack of baggage space. I can't see those changing any time soon?

I finally got a few (15) minutes in a turbocharged Enstrom.
Controls heavier than what I'm used to.
CHT issue at 4500' two up and 65F
Overboost light while hovering
Vibration level felt a bit more than my two blade Safari
Auto very nice. No VSI but it looked a lot nicer than the Schweitzer tuck

The Safari near Phoenix that crashed with the loss of two lives is now
followed by a RotorWay in Vermont flown by Ronald York that crashed
resulting in the Death of Mr. York.
The investigation of both accidents is pending.

Hello John,
I've had Blackshark since Christmas (bought it online) and enjoy it
very much. It is certainly a study sim and not just a game. Nearly
every switch and control is clickable and functions in the cockpit.
The English version does have English text in the cockpit along with
English speaking ground crew and other radio traffic.

Yeah we knew both people involved and had attended several airshows where
they showed their ship.
The cause is TBD. I'm sure that the FAA and NTSB will look into it to a
certain level.

You betcha. It is the only one in the mid-west that we are covering for the
magazine this year.
We will be presenting a forum at the Golden West show addressing the things
we learned about anodizing and aluminum structures.
The Utah Fly-In is still on our list, but we have cancelled our appearance
