Here .mil people's opinion is that the Vth Lybian war is actually
looming....

OTOH, Italy has on his side an offer Libyans with good sense can't
refuse (Union with Italy, and thru her, EU....) and I'm sure that with
the most disagreeing power distracted both internally (the benghazi
embassy political flamefest) and externally (Syria, whose also require
trusting their back to Italy....) that scheme actually IS feasible.

*Really* interesting scenario...
