Thanks for posting those. I'd only seen one other picture of the V3
with the wings attached.

The thing that gets ignored here is that the wings were modified in
order to make them fit. Current images of the wings in storage show
that they would NOT have fit as originally delivered - the wing butts
on the outer panels have clearly been sawn to make them match.

I LOVE finding the obscure and you're right- there is only one more
photo of the V3 with the wings attached. These two are from the
Smithsonian's storage facility of that time which was an old warehouse
located near a military installation... I think you can see the He-162
in the background as well.

Perhaps it's time to change this.

I think that the science should be respected and reproduced
irregardless of what is believed about the Nazis (me & Robbie) and
Adolf Hitler.

I think gazillions of people if heard that this craft was going to be
flown and displayed in action, would show up and film it. An air show
event perhaps?
