Libya is basically a ground war. NATA is doing the bombing but we are
lucky that the Libyans are providing the ground troops. We may not be
so lucky next time.

There are problems with Pakistan and Iran.

Iran isn't a problem, Iran is a nuisance.

Pakistan is a problem, but it isn't really resolvable with troops.

Iran has just tried to assassinate some-one inside the US...
Scarcely a nuisance...

Nope, just a nuisance.

Iran uses assassination as a matter of state policy, and has done for
years.

They've murdered people all over the world, either directly or through
their twin proxies of Hamas and Hezbollah, as a matter of routine.

What's interesting about this one is the clumsy attempt to sub contract
the murders.

The Iranians have never been seen to act in a subtle manner like this
before, as a general rule they don't care who knows that they murder
people when it suits them.

The Quds Force, the Iranian government agency the US says are behind
this attempted attack, have been active in South America for years and
were almost certainly behind the attack by Hezbollah on the Jewish
Centre in Buenos Aires which resulted in the deaths of 85 people.

Perhaps the leaders of Iran are getting a bit desperate now?
