I have for sale the "Republic F-105 Thunderchief" hardcover edition book
"Republic F-105 Thunderchief" by Doug Richardson (1992). The edition
contains 46 pages with full-color and black and white photographs profiling
the Republic F-105 Thunderchief fighter.
Cover Excerpt:
"Initially, viewed with scorn, the Republic F-105 Thunderchief married a
heavy powerplant with a sophisticated weapons system. She was eventually
loved by those who used her and went on to serve the USAF for 25 years
during a period of which included, in Vietnam, the greatest war of the era.
The "Thud" was one of the most active aircraft in the war, F-105Ds dropping
ordnance in the strike fighter role and then F-105Fs and F-105Gs making
SAM-suppression their forte in the Wild Weasel role."
