News----Police Trace Man on Surveillance

Officers have now released surveillance footage of a man who was seen at
around 10.49am on June 21 standing opposite Sports Direct in Cockrams
Yard with what appeared to be a camera. Police add there could be a
completely innocent explanation,'video wall processors'

they're eager to speak to the man.
Police were contacted because of concerns about how and why this
photograph was taken and posted. Officers have pursued several lines of
enquiry including the examination of surveillance footage from Newport
town centre on Tuesday,'PCI-E DVR Cards to PC'
(http://www.dvrselection.com/categories/DVR-Cards/PCI), June 21.
Police are releasing a surveillance image of the man in an appeal for
him to come forward. He may have information that is important to their
enquiries. Anyone who thinks they recognize or know him is also asked to
contact the police.
