Funny how people's perspectives are different. When I saw this I
thought, hummm.... was $32 a barrel yesterday. We sold 1000 barrels
to the refinery on Thursday from one of our wells that's four miles
from Devil's tower in Wyoming. The bastards in the Middle East have
been giving oil away for five years now. It costs them $3/barrel (42
gallons) to ship the stuff and that is what they were selling it to
Texaco for. We just shut down for five years and left our oil in the
fucking ground. It costs us $15 a barrel for sweet green crude to
bring it to the surface, separate the water and store it..plus
maintenance, hardware, clerical support and taxes.
Our God damn electricity bill is $10,000/month just to run the pumps.
Then of course we get to pay the US government 12.5% of everything we
sell too. And God help us if some fucking mallard flies into one of
our water ponds and croaks. That's a $10,000 fine from the assholes
at EPA.
I'll tell you people something. Gasoline for airplanes at
$2.50/gallon is a steal. You'll see $5.00 before this is over. All
this country has done is take advantage of and beat on the small oil
producers for decades. Most big companies have thrown in the towel on
the 10 barrel a day oil wells. They just can't make it work with
Saudi giving oil away and the government regulations (EPA, BLM, Forest
Service, Park Service and local government).
I love it when I see the prices go up. I wish they'd go to$10/gallon.
I hedged my usage by simply buying the fucking oil wells themselves.
I produce hundreds of gallons more each day than I burn. If it goes to
$1000/gallon I'll still make money and fly all I want. So fuck you
all.

Well, we're pumping like crazy now at $32 bucks a barrel. Crank em up
Geoff! The time has come.

I tried to do that, but the damn limited partnership went bankrupt last
year before oil prices went up.

You think I am a bullshitter? I am honored to be included amoung
the great bullshitters of RAH ... but in reality I am not worthy.
I will have to work on my BS to ever be included in this exalted
company.

Brian,
No , no, NO !
You, in fact, are WAAAAAY TOO worthy.
Time to get more despicable, if you are to impress anybody here.
Just look at BWB.
Never mind.
Don't.
But, you get the idea.
What you want is.... an MS in BS,
unless you have the right stuff for the PhD.
Once again....
I point to DOKTOR BADWATER as the epitome of a fine terrible example.
Or.. a terrible fine example.
Good luck at getting bad.
BOb U..
I was a very poor kid from a very poor family. I left home at 17 and
got scholarships to go to school. But...I did exactly what that book
prescribes and I retired at 42 years old.
Go read it if you are still young. Old decrepit bastards like Unka
Bob don't have a chance. He's too old and too set in his nasty ways
to change. I may have to take care of him myself when he goes to the
rest home...poor old bastard.
Poooorrr Unka Bob!
Hey, Uncka? Can I still fly the RV-3? Can I? Huh?

ROFL! Oysterhouse, that's the first funny thing you've said in years! I
didn't think you had it in you, Bubba!
BWB is definitely the anti-something. Since he was a physicist, I'd be
inclined to guess 'anti-proton'.
'Pastor' Dave
Sure.
Just bring some of them rusty millions with ya.
I want to hold 'em while you fly.
That way you don't have to come back if you don't wanna.

Ditto (ROFL).
I think anti-proton is correct: negative and heavy. ;-)
The other candidate would be a tau quark (which is about as heavy a
particle as you can get), but the theory says it's half life is much, much
shorter than BWB's apparent posting history on RAH. I think we all know
which particle he isn't: the charm quark.
Russell Kent
You're right, definitely no charm at all, but with all this ducks and
geese business on his part, I think maybe he is some sort of quack.
'Pastor' Dave
Takes one to know one Dr. Pincus! Look at who's talking.
BWB
Deal!

Damn I guess I'm just too old - I'm 37. Oh well, I'm not sure I'm good
enough at being bad to do it anyways. Does this involve scamming money
from little old ladies? I'll scam orphans, but I draw the line at little
old ladies.

I checked out the reviews at Amazon.com. This one was interesting:
"The millionaire next-door did not become a millionaire by winning the lottery or on Regis Philbin's new game show: Millionaire. Most millionaire's in the United States are people just like you and I except they invest their money on a regular basis and live modest lives. After interviewing over 1000 millionaires, they discovered that the average millionaire makes $131,000 per year but invests up to 15 percent of their income on annual basis. Most millionaires drive regular cars that they bought used for l
ess than $25,000, live-in modest homes, and work in a non-glamour industry. As a matter of fact most millionaires are entrepreneurs that own and operate their own small business."
Sounds like I have been doing the right things! All I need to do now is
invest in the right things rather than the wrong things. Anybody want some
stock in an insurance company? The president was last seen somewhere in
South America - he is on an extended vacation, but he forgot to leave a
forwarding address or any funds in the company coffers.

I think I can make retirement at 42 - 5 whole years away! The only problem
is that my wife seems to get nervous with the idea of a husband lazing away
at home. She also wants a *lot* more money in the bank than I feel is
necessary for security - some undetermined amount which might approach the
infinite.
