Normally I'd flame you for spamming. But I actually like this sticker. You
need to modify it a bit though. It shouldn't read slower traffic keep
right. It should read "The Law Is Slower Traffic Keep Right". (backwards,
of course) If it just reads slower traffic keep right, you will look like a
real asshole with one of those on your hood. If it reads the law is slower
traffic keep right, then it SHOULD be taken as a friendly reminder that
proper lane usage is more than just what courtesy requires. -Dave

Then they would be wrong and need to be educated. First of all, driving is
not a right, it is a privilege and they DO have to follow the rules of the
road or risk losing that privilage including the keep right - pass left
rule. As for the speed, there is also a minimum speed on most highways
(weather permitting) and they can be tickited for going to slow. Perhaps
the State Troopers should start ticketing people for breaking these rules as
well as just speeding and agressive driving and the number of agressive
drivers and the accidents caused by them would also go down.

If at first you don't succeed, you're not cut out for skydiving
In most jurisdictions there is a catchall offense of "driving too slow for
conditions" or "impeding the flow of traffic." Illinois just implemented a
specific offense called "lingering" which is a moving violation specifically
targeted at people who drive too slow in the left-hand lane of multi-lane
highways. I hope they start handing those out hard and fast.

I saw mention of a SUV-size cow catcher. I am not one to object to this
idea.

It may be bullshit, but it is still the truth.

The 10th amendment, plus the lack of an enumerated power to prohibit driving.
It's probably one that same page that says you have the right not to
wear a seat belt or to piss on the salad bar.

I think you better read the 10th amendment again and ask your local
representative if the police chief he hired has the ability to yank your
license.

oh... I always wondered why they put lettuce in the urinals... oops!
Galt's right. One *does* have the right to operate a motor vehicle.
However, in order to drive it *on government-owned and operated
highways* (as authorized in Art. I, Sec. 8 - "post roads"), you do
have to abide by their regulations. Your 'constitutional right' to
operate a motor vehicle pretty much applies only on private property
where you have permission to do so.
