Was all this work done to try and fix an existing vibration or is the
vibration a result of all this work?
Or, did the van just need a lot of work but no one tried to diagnose and fix
the vibration?
Guess what I am trying to say is, If you can not tell what is causing the
vibration, then you should have it diagnosed by someone who can. There are
to many possible causes for vibrations to cover them all in an e-mail here.
Perhaps if you could be more specific about the vibration, ie. does the
whole body vibrate, does it get worse as the engine rpms increase or is it
varying in relation to the tire speed rather than engine speed? Does it
vibrate if you hold your brakes on and rev up the engine in drive? When did
it start vibrating. Did it appear all of a sudden or has it gradually been
getting worse. Does the vibration change a lot when going from accelerating
to coasting? You said a lot of work was done, but was the drive shaft
checked, how about the u-joints, the rear transmission mount, the rear
brakes, were the wheels checked for runout and are you sure none are bent.,
See what I mean. We need more information to provide a likely solution.
