Geez, if Earnhardt Sr had been parked every time he wrecked someone, he'd
never had won a championship.

LMAO. He wouldn't have seen much track time! And I was a true blue
Ironhead fan. Make Carl pay for Brad's car. Make him donate a big
chunk of money to a good cause. Humiliate him publicly.

how original.

I'd penalize him accordingly:
Pts earned today + 100
Money earned today + $100,000
Offer an on-camera public apology
Offer an apology during the next driver's meeting
Probation for the rest of the year. Not the namby pamby kind NASCAR
usually hands out, but the "do it again and we revoke your hard card" kind.
Serve 3 hours in a dunk tank at Bristol while dressed as a clown. All
proceeds to a charity of Keselowski's choosing and in his name.
You can't park Sr. now, can you?

That's what parking him for a race does.
Here's an idea: make him pay Carl Long's outstanding NASCAR fine
(assuming he has one - I heard Long was a DNQ in the truck race this
weekend, so presumably he's out of the Cup doghouse as well).

but its true, "Saint" Ironhead was the dirtiest driver in racing history.

It was criminal. He should be locked up and banned from auto racing for
life. A short while later he is doing an interview and acting as calm and
innocent as a lamb. He seems to have a few screws loose. A loose cannon
is one thing but he is a loose cannon driving a two ton car into other cars
on purpose and to hell with the consequences.

They were all rookies in their first season. You are stupid enough that you
must be an Edwards fan.
Please post the stats to backup your statement.
Post the facts/stats that he would have never won a championship if he
had been parked every time he wrecked someone.
I'll be waiting.

You've never seen a fraction of the races run in history.
You don't have a clue as to who was the dirtiest.
Carl Edwards should be parked long enough that he is disqualified from
this year's Chase. He should be OUT of any championship contention
this season for that fucking stunt.

That was a different NASCAR, Roxxx... Not only that, but there's a
line you cross when it appears you deliberately flip somebody on a
speedway.
That's even worse than just putting them into the wall.

Man.
Get a grip.
That subject has been beaten to death here. Most people will comply and
bottom-post when asked. Others refuse to simply because they want to be
non-compliant assholes.
The thing that ticked me off is the way they kept saying that Brad "got into
him". I'm not a BK fan, but he was hugging the yellow line and Carl came
down across him. This isn't one of those one-lane tracks where there's a
"racing line" and the guy on the bottom isn't in it and needs to back out,
they're racing four lines all the way around. There's no reason to expect
that a guy on the bottom is going to "give me room", whether it's a young
snot like Brad or Carl himself. This is just that old tired I'm a veteran,
you're a young punk, you're supposed to stay the hell out of my way deal. I
like Carl, but he's as wrong as you can get on this one.
