I wonder if Penske passed on her...if he did, the reason would be "we don't
need a pretty face, we'll just win races instead."
Good analysis. The freak show will soon come to an end.
How very prescient of me. Too bad you and the rest of your
dimwitted brethren here are such tedious johnny-come-latelies:

Ya know, I really pulled for her when she first started Atlantics and
even when she went to Rahal's team in the IRL. This year, she must
produce or she will be labeled a failure -- even if she beats Marco in
championship points. I mean, she is leading the golden boy as we speak
and his season has been pitiful so far.
Andretti must need the sponsorship bucks to hire her after the fatted
Honda cow pulled engineers and prime bucks from his operation -- Or is
it the attention he craves for his dethroned team?
Bit of a freak show in F1 as well at the present time, there is a Half Coon
getting on the podium in recent races.
Bernie must be wetting himself with the thought of a new black audience , if
they can drag themselves away from shooting baskets !

Maybe bananas will help?

Stupid POTY candidate.
crickets
ummm...
Wasn't it last year? The reason she turned down the mixture was that she
did not pit for fuel and she was running on fumes at the end. Had she made
it with the gas she had left, things would have been different.

I'm sure there is more than that to it. She can get the poll position
pretty easily. so it seems. since she did the fastest qualifying times in
the Indy and recent Japanese race. Still, something - maybe a lack of
testosterone? - keeps her out of the battle league once the race has begun.
She's still young, but I also agree she needs to produce a win....and
sometime soon.

No, she came in 8th last year IIRC...4th the prior, and FIRST, year.

Also, with regard to the mixture, I'm not talking about Indy specifically.
She has said repeatedly in interview she turns in down.
