It seems that JB's 'box had the same problem that ended LH's Singapore
GP. Both cars will have new 'boxes for Suzuka. Unfortunately, while
Lewis can change his without penalty, Jenson will get a 5-place grid
penalty.

Do you know if McLaren changed LH's gearbox after Spa?

They would have been allowed a 'free' replacement and would have had the
opportunity to find and fix the problem they already knew about.

No idea, the relevant FIA docs. are no longer publicly available. If a
'box is changed mid-event there will be a doc. referring it to the
stewards, but changes between events are not routinely published this
year.

Looking around for info I discovered that Paddy Lowe is on Twitter.

http://twitter.com/paddylowe

Not that there is anything interesting at the moment.

JB's engineer, Dave Robson, is here:

Note that I don't 'use' twitter, but occasionally look at drivers' tweets.

This one might be useful too:

From there, here's his blog entry on 2013/14 rule changes.

Do they all last the night, or did he have to change them over 2 or 3 times?

You think he was pretending to be Goldilocks?

Nah, just thought he might have different compounds available for
different hotels.

When you put the pillow under her backside, it about trajectory and traction.

What she didn't tell you is that it is the only way she can feel your
tiny dick.

I try to read/download as many docs. as possible by simply typing in the
address bar or in my download manager the string starting with the data
relevant to the specific GP (sometimes guessing) and ending with
"DocumentNumber-1" (-2, -3, etc.).

For instance, try this:
http://184.106.145.74/fia-f1/f1-2012/f1-2012-15/Formula%201%20Japanese%20Grand%20Prix%202012%20DocumentNumber-1.pdf

and then substitute -2.pdf, -3.pdf, etc.
