He will become 3xWDC at 25. That trumps Senna's record of youngest
3xWDC at 31 by a landslide.

Vettel will also join Schumacher and Fangio as the drivers to win 3
WDC in a row.

Vettel on his way to becoming the greatest f1 driver ever.

By the time his career is over he will own all the f1 records. Every
single one of them.

That means he's going to win the 2033 WDC to make him the oldest :-)

No one 'owns' sports records, they may hold them for a while, but
someone usually comes along and beats them.

Its more a mark of the systems than drivers. Which brings us straight
beck to the bullshit of comparing drivers of different generations.

Possibly, at least of his generation...but not simply because of the
records.

Vettel will win many consecutive WDC. 8 or 9.

Are you by chance a fan of Vettel?

I cannot imagine that you are in any sense a dispassionate observer.

You can only do it on vague grounds, the sort of thing that Denis
Jenkinson tried for with his notion of benchmark drivers. Saying that
so-and-so has more points than Fangio proves nothing at all. Even
having more race wins than Fangio doesn't count for that much when you
have 20 races in a season. Wins per start is more interesting.

Judgement across generations on the basis of numbers is a futile
exercise.

Or sane, for that matter...
