"The Council" serves as 21st century reminder of the dangers of unchecked
nationalism, bigotry, and parochial self-interest, which quickly lead to the
wholesale rejection of reason and mindless submission to a cult of
personality.
*cough*
Not to mention the fact that the council is made up of those who have
a blinkered view of F1 and so could hardly be trusted to come up with
a reasoned argument on the subject.
I want a video of that meeting with Brian walking around with his
Benelli bagging New York, Mark telling him to go get fucked while
patting Bob's head, who, as usual makes a one liner about the table
not being Ferrari red and shuts up, all the while Brendan going on and
on about the unfairness of nobody doing anything about the councils's
total ineffectiveness.. :-)

This is the last time I will tell you, you sick fuck: Mutual
masterbation in public is a criminal offence.
And if I were to evven begin to take you seriously in any way shape or
form, I would question your ability to front such a thing based on you
idiotic notion that you can pronouce Mclaren guilty before any one
official does, and make statements on that judgement.
Your childish notion is reduntant based on that alone.
What really amusing is that you take people who post FACTS about
Mclaren and the spy crisis as supporters. Many of them tell you that
your logic is flawed, and that NO REASONABLE DECISION can be made as
yet. Those same people are reseving judgement in anticipation of the
actual facts.
I personally dont know what went on. I know as much as you or any one
else does. As a WILLIAMS fan I can well do with out Mclaren. But Im
not pathetic enough to want to eliminate the opposition anywhere other
than on the track. Im man enough to admit that Williams are not up to
the task.
It is very depressing to me that Ferrari and Alonso fans cant handle
competition and want to win anywhere other than on the race track. I
find it equally depressing that you people have no historical context
what so ever. Which means that you guys arent even racing fans.
So, non racing fans holding council over racing fans? I think not.
So ordered,
AC (a 'racing' fan)
I know I'm going to regret this, but how does that work, exactly?
I mean, other than "your honor, cor blimey! She was askin' for it,
she was!!!"
"The late Dr Harvey Postlethwaite, who was Ferrari's technical
director, admitted that he had been the mastermind behind a
clandestine break-in at the Williams garage during the German Grand
Prix in 1980. A group of Ferrari personnel spent the entire night in
the garage, wielding their tape measures and taking photographs of the
car that would win Australian Alan Jones that year's championship.
Ironically, none of the information gleaned appeared to make any
difference to Ferrari."

I'll just note that I've read this story before - maybe as long ago as
18 months - I seem to recall it was told by Patrick Head, who thought
it was funny and said that Williams were not really bothered.

It also surfaced on the 'net in various places in early July when the
current 'scandal' broke. It was included in many lists of previous F1
'spying' stories.
The bit i loved most is, where Jones presented whatshisname with an
engraved ruler. :-)

Obviously fabricated by the BMIA cabal in an attempt to further denigrate
the One True Marque. You fuckwit, etc etc.
How was that?
...sounds like FIAt to me :-P

Ive heard that in Formula 1 a few times, I have to say, where you
go to the first practice session [of the season] armed with new
horsepower figures, new torque figures, new aerodynamic downforce
figures and all sorts of wonderful I mean, youre gonna run into
the back of yourself according to some of these numbers!

Thanks. But neither of those is a proper citation either.
Of course. But it's not a new story, and some of the details are
obviously wrong, but something happened involving the Doc and
Williams in the early 'eighties. It wasn't that important though.

This is a grim task but will be undertaken with great care.

Oh I've been expecting this - and just to leak some of the advance
findings:
Phil Carmody
Dave Baker
Paul B
Bigbird
even Ric - all guilty of the most heinous Denial and Distortion!

In the interests of fair play I'll happily accept contributions to the
above list.

McLaren - breaking regulations with impunity.

ROFL.
Just apply yourself to the task at hand : concentrating on your
circle-jerking. The Kleenexes are free : the supplier is over there

You're only making it worse for yourself... :)

The "RASF1 council" *isn't* a three-way circle-jerk?
