<snip>

But it was the early pace of the new Williams FW30, which only ran for the
first time yesterday, that impressed onlookers - as Nico Rosberg set the
third quickest time during a long run.

That effort put him almost two tenths ahead of McLaren duo Heikki
Kovalainen and Pedro de la Rosa.

<snip>

Might be that Williams are in for another step up from last year, Frank?

Ah, god bless Williams !!

If that were the grid in Australia, then I'd be doing my raboid Wilosi
routine, but sadly, its only..........

(yes, "raboid" is a damn typo, but I liked it, so I left it, OK?)

The LH fanboys will claim lH is faster than Kimi etc etc. Yeah it is
only testing but it ooks like Kimi is on it. Great news hopefully for
Nico and Williams. I wonder if Toyo will eventually buy Williams. I
like Nico and think he is WC materials. I also respect Sir Frank far
more than slimy Ron.

Looks like Alonso and Renault may be fast but not fast enough in
2008. Who the hell is Asmer? Great time as Heidfeld is no slouch.
I think the superstar of the future may be Vettel. if I was Ferrari,
I would be trying to get him in 2010 or BMW should snap him up next
year.

WTF are you on about? I would have thought you would know better than
to to take the acronym personally, but then again perhaps last seasons
regression is set to continue.

So you really take those times seriously and believe that Williams at
over 6 tenths off the pace are demonstrating a marked improvement?

Idiot!

Who mentioned LH and MCL? Oh you did. Give it a rest and talk about
something else PLEASE. It's getting REALLY boring now.

No, only you are that stupid

>Yeah it is
>only testing but it ooks like Kimi is on it.

Of course. Helps that Ferrari build a quick car though. I think they might
also be on it.

>Great news hopefully for
>Nico and Williams.

Hopefully, but its early day, even for testing.

>I wonder if Toyo will eventually buy Williams.

Eventually, they might. Frank and Pat must be looking towards retirement in
the not tto distant. Privateers struggle now, so it seem both sensible and
logical.

> I like Nico and think he is WC materials.

Yep, just like any other of the top 10 drivers in fast enough cars.

>I also respect Sir Frank far
>more than slimy Ron.

No you dont. Just just want to pop at Ron. Dont drag a man like Frank
Williams in to your bile. That alone proves your disrespect.

>
>Looks like Alonso and Renault may be fast but not fast enough in
>2008.

Really? Thats a stupid as yor first comment. All you can say is that they
arent fast enough now. We cant possibly know how things will develop before
the first race and through the season.

And what about that mythical 0.5sec of Alonso? Has that suddenl disappeared,
or is the Renault actually 0.5secs slower than it appears?

>Who the hell is Asmer?

Dont you know? Oh. Thought you knew it all.

>Great time as Heidfeld is no slouch.

Indeed. As a know it all, didnt you expect that?

>I think the superstar of the future may be Vettel.

Yep, if he gets the right car. Just like Hamilton, Kimi, Massa, Alonso,
Niko.............etc

> if I was Ferrari,

we wouldnt have to put up with your shit because a Ferrari cant type.

>I would be trying to get him in 2010 or BMW should snap him up next

So, why don't thay? Perhaps they already have. Perhaps they know more than
you. Perhaps they dont tell us everything.

LOL.. settle down Bird. :)
It is only practice and of course as usual, we haven't a clue what
they were practicing(well, the article mentions some of it), but that
0.6-0.7 looks much better than the 2+ seconds in 2007 at the same-ish
time and venue.

Nico had some respectable drives last year, *despite the car*, so i'm
staying quietly optimistic that they just may be able to regularly
shoot for the top end of the midfield this year. Maybe bother the 4th
and 5th place cars.. We'll see, but it would be a great improvement.

Hey I just responding to a fuckwit who does not seem to know WTF IDIOT
means.

Please let Brendan in on the secret.

Nakajima 1.8 off the pace last year...hardly representative of the car
as illustrated a couple of weeks later.

We know Massa was testing on very very very low fuel yesterday ;) but
not much else.

There are some interesting articles about the new features on the cars
and some questions about the BMW apparent pace but little else to be
said of these slower times.

Indeed I am a bit of a Nico fan and would like to see him given a
better opportunity to display his talents.

I think the pace today some 1.2 seconds faster than yesterday indicates
what I intended.

Listen bird - it's probably fair to assume I know all that, huh?
But it's still interesting and significant and the other information I have
still looks better for Williams than recently.

Nah, i'm sure he can type "usenet acronyms" into Google and if he
can't... well it may as well stick as is. :-)

Yet you post as if you are oblivious, plain naive and ignorant IMO.

So why the dumb "Still bitter?" response...
...and WTF is that meant to me anyway.

Clearly you still have a gigantic chip up your arse.

> But it's still interesting and significant and the other information

Not really. It's very difficult to see whether Williams have made a
significant step forward since the end of last season based on this
testing alone.

Nico, 0.4 faster than above, was 1.4 off the pace yesterday and slower
than Nakajima in a hybrid (IIRC).

Signs of a downturn at Williams... ...or maybe just testing.

> I have still looks better for Williams than recently.

Barely, based on that information alone. IDIOT
