Rivals say there will not be a rush to copy Mercedes' double DRS system despite
Chinese Grand Prix win

No chance that the other teams can implement this before the end of this
season. Even though the concept is simple, but it's deceptively simple.
It requires designing a pipe from the back wing to the front wing that
lets air flow in from the back to the front. This requires a pipe that
is inside the chassis and is an integral part of the chassis. So you
can't just route an external pipe to the front wings, as that'll screw
up aerodynamics in other ways. If they try to incorporate it internally,
then it's going to be a modification to their chassis, and it's going to
require new crash tests before racing. Mercedes have this advantage for
all of the rest of this season.

Maybe. Teams incorporated F-ducts in 2010 even though that year there
were no chassis mods allowed. So I think it can be done, but not
easily.

See Whitmarsh's comments. Rosberg was fast in the race when he wasn't
able to use DRS, so that wasn't the only reason for Merc's pace.

Horner's comments in the same article are hilarious!

I think those were done through the bodywork rather than through the
chassis.

Yeah, Mercedes just had to find the right balance of straightline and
cornering speed, which they lacked the balance of in the previous two
races.
