Hope someone can help. Have tried everything to get FF to work in the game.

edited the core ini file like it said

and have tried different # settings on the other 3 lines
I have a Logi WMFF and it works fine in other games
Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks
Kris

Sounds like you might not have the patch from www.papy.com
You have to be on at least GPL version 1.1 for forcefeedback support. My LWFF works fine in GPL
under all OS's I've ever tried...

This is from my core.ini:

[ Joy ]
allow_force_feedback = 1
force_feedback_damping = 15.00000
force_feedback_latency = 0.0650000
max_steering_torque = 500.000000

You may want to play around with the last three, but it'll work.

The file is named core.ini, but when i click on it's properties it says the
the type of file is SAMPLE.
I dont see any ohter core file and i have show all file enabled.
Womdwering if someone could email me a copy of the right file and i could
just paste it in.

Congrats!

The problem is probably that you need to show all file extensions.

Go to the view tab in folder options, and uncheck the "hide file extensions
for known file types" tickbox. The description may vary slightly, but it'll
be there in all MS os's.

If you then look in your gpl folder, you'll see core.ini.sample as well as
your new core.ini.
You should also see that, for example gpl becomes gpl.exe and so on.

Malc.

<snip>

Sounds as though the file is actually called core.ini.sample, but
you've got "hide extensions of known filetypes" (or whatever) turned
on. Rename the file to "core.ini" (*not* "core.ini.sample"), and check
its properties - it should say "ini file" (sometimes "initialisation
settings"). Should be OK now.
