I am thinking of purchasing a Porsche 924. Anyone know the
performace figures on this machine?

Also, does anyone know of any decent 924 performance mods that
can be performed without the aid of a full machine shop? (Suspension
upgrades, turbo chargers, blowers, nitrous, giant rocket strapped to the
roof, you know...the kind. B)

I know that there's a company producing a V-6 conversion for the 924;
that's what i'd do with it before spending the money on bolt-ons ($500
running V-6 vs. $2500 turbo kit...). Before you buy it, make sure that
the clutch is good; I've heard stories about $2000 replacement costs...
