Question about REBUILT Engines

I have a 1989 Honda Civic with 68K miles. The engine died (something
broke...). The dealer suggests a REBUILT engine (cost 3.5K) or a new
engine (4.5K).

Q. Is there any information/experience about rebuilt engine choice?

Q. What happens to the car cost/value if new engine is added?

Q. Is there any other option (somehow getting a used engine at a much
cheaper rate?)

Any help and experience would be most appreciated. I normally do not

Around Atlanta, GA, you can buy comparable vehicle in good condition
for $3,500 to $4,500 and, not even worry about the old one. Probably
have little to no rust, either. I wouldn't consider anything more
than a good used engine with a warranty. If you shop the salvage
yards carefully and inspect the prospective replacement carefully, you
should be OK.

I'd find out what broke first!!!! It sounds like it could just be a timing
belt broke and only needs a head rebuild for around $1000. Alot less than an
engine. Did they say exactly what broke?

Rebuilt engines are better to buy while going in for a new engine purchase. It is considered to be a cost-effective purchase by car owners.
1.A rebuilt engine with genuine parts offers effective performance as good as a new one.
2.Car costs are considerably lowered with a rebuilt engine installation.
3.Used engines are cheaper but rebuilt engines are most cost effective in car maintenance.
I purchased a rebuilt engine from www.hiperformer.com where I got a great deal with genuine spares and a warranty too.
