Hey all -

I haven't been around lately due to getting ready for the Lehigh
Valley Miata Owners Club's 5th Annual Drive to Survive to benefit
the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Our event is this coming
Sunday (Oct. 4), so keep your fingers crossed for good weather
here in eastern Pennsylvania!

The coolest thing is that the BCRF has added a dedicated link for
anyone who wants to donate to our event without actually being
present. That link is:
http://bcrfcure.org/part_comm_gr_lehighvalley.html Any donations
made thru this link will be added to our total donation this
year.

We're also raffling off a 42" flat screen color HD TV, a full CB
radio set-up and a detail and polishing kit. Raffle tickets can
be purchased through our PayPal account - trea...@lvmoc.net and
are $5 apiece. More info is available on our website
www.lvmoc.net along with photos of prior years' events, which can
be found in the Gallery section. Registration for the website is
free - registration for the Drive is $30 per person and all
proceeds go to the BCRF.

Hopefully we can better last year's donation of $11,000!

Iva, Thanks for posting this again this year and for what your group does to
assist the BCRF.

I'm contributing and challenging the many (lurking) miataphiles to do the
same. Good luck and keep us posted on how it goes, will you?!

Thanks,
Chris

I'll take up that challenge with a raffle ticket buy or two. My paypal
account should receive a bump by this weekend.

Iva may need to take the 42" TV if I win it, that is a long way to go
pick it up, and there is nothing worth watching on TV anyway. ;-)

Thanks, guys, we truly appreciate it.

And, Pat, if you do win the television, it will be shipped
directly to you! Unless, that is, you *really* want to take a
nice long drive. Although I don't think it will fit in a Miata
so well. ;-)

Please keep your fingers crossed for good weather on Sunday!

By the way, Pat, which raffle ticket do you want?

May as well go for the TV, I like the looks of the new show, "Modern
Family" so far, so maybe I have something to watch this season.

I didn't know that there were choices.
I will probably get a couple more raffle tickets when my sales go off
this weekend, so maybe one of each. :-)

Thanks Iva,

Pat

Thank you, Pat.

Yes, there are 3 raffles - the TV, a full CB radio setup and a
detailing/polishing kit.
