NP 231 drain plug

Hello everyone. Can someone tell me the socket size for removing the fill plug on my np 231 xfer case. The adjustable wrench is not cutting it anymore, so I need to go buy a socket, but I do not know what size it is. This is on a 95 YJ. Thanks, Greg

Hi Group, This is a continuing problem for "98TJ will not start". Turns out it is a fuel pump problem and I have received a new Mopar fuel pump. The new pump looks the same and has exactly the same dimensions as the one I removed. The problem now is that I cannot install it. It is almost 1cm too... more »

What causes extreme high fuel consumption? I checked my 1987 Grand Wagoneer over a 700-mile road trip, only to discover that it is getting 8.7 mpg!
