Can someone tell me the socket size for removing the fill plug on my
np 231 xfer case. The adjustable wrench is not cutting it anymore, so
I need to go buy a socket, but I do not know what size it is. This is
on a 95 YJ.
Thanks,
Greg

Sorry Bill... It is a 30mm. Just got the dang thing off and took a
measurement with the old trusty calipers. 1.175". Thanks for the tip
though. Have a good day.

Well ok Bill, if that last comment was intended for me, I guess a
1.250" socket could potentially remove said plug, but I would rather
use the correct size as to not damage the plug. If that comment was
not directed at me, my appologies....

No, it would take a brain and a conscience for that to happen.

Yeah, OK.
Nothing there shows much of anything in the way of accomplishments.
You bought some old junk heaps, peeled 'taters in the Army, have an ugly
family and live in a hell-hole of a town.
Not too impressive, eh, Bill?
Everyone I know, myself included, has done far better, and far more.
You've always been below average, and always will be.
And that is the POLITE version.

Who is 'they'?
If you mean your misbegotten family, you are just fooling yourself.
A lot of them don't even like you, they just want an inheritance, so they
tolerate you.
And a couple of your grandkids actually hate you, especially the one gay
boy. He's older now, and he's not afraid of you anymore. Be careful.
