Hi, I have an intermittent speedometer and would like to check the
wiring out on the vehicle speed sensor but have idea where it's
located. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

the vss is on the top of the tranny, basically below the thermostat
housing. it has a 'boat shaped' top and a three-wire connector.
signals should be gnd, +12, +5 pulse out, not in that order

what kind of intermitent behavior do you have. If your speedometer gets
stuck at 20 m/h, it's not VSS but your speedometer.
