Why this is marked as abuse? It has been marked as abuse.

You may have heard the term 'viatology' mentioned in these
newsgroups. But what does it mean?

In its simplest definition, viatology is the scientific study of
roads. Using empirical observation (see: http://www.unm.edu/~rrobergs/604Lecture3.pdf)
and the scientific method (see: http://teacher.nsrl.rochester.edu/phy_labs/appendixe/appendixe.html),
one analyses roadway phenomena. This can be anything from pavement
types to road signage standards to photographs of retired roadways
from years past.

Those who engage in viatology are known as viatologists. For more
information on viatology, including its etymology thereof, refer to
the information here: http://wwtl.info/#viatology.html

In contrast to viatology, there are subjective interpretations of
roadways. Viatology removes sentimental analysis and preserves
empirically-collected data; instead, it collects evidence for future
generations to better understand the roadway technologies and
methodologies of their predecessors. With your help and contributions
to the field, viatology may one day be incorporated in academic
curriculae.

It's a word that Carl Rogers invented so he can use it to wipe his
asshole. He posts it on Usenet because he knows that any Google search
will return a list of insulting (and very true) and degrading things
that people say about Carl. He like the fact that his name will always
be associated with ass-wiping in any Google search. It makes him feel
important. Any search show him to be an ass-wipe, which is more
significant than anything else in his pathetic life.
