KT120, more test results.

Hi all.
Tonight I tried a few more tests of KT120 and also NOS Sovtek KT88
from 2001, and the 6550 I had tested.
This time, I re-configured the OPT without CFB to allow a better look
at how the tubes functioned in pure beam tetrode, UL and triode, and

300B for driver??

I never seen one B4, but how can they do that? The 300B is very hard
to drive in this way as input and driver tubes even with transformer??

KT120 tests, compared to 6550.

Over the last fortnight I rebuilt my benchtop power supply to be able
to test KT120 with a regulated 600Vdc anode supply, at up to 320mA. I
placed shunt regulation for the screens on the breadboard for the pair
of KT120. Fixed bias was used, with a balance pot to equalise Ia in
