Cool looking 6L6 amp! Has a deco design to it, and a very cool look
when running with its backlit logo and power light. Would be a great
harp or guitar amp to explore with. This is a Lafayette CO-ORDINATED
Sound System model 419.

I went through this and replaced all capacitors. This includes all
the electrolytics and paper caps. I also replaced all out of
tolerance resistors. The output transformer windings tested good. I
replaced the power cord with a modern 3-prong cord for safety. The
schematic originally called for a .5 mf cap from line to chassis
ground. I removed this, but you may wish to install a modern
noise/interference scheme that is much safer. With the grounded
chassis and modern electrical power, this amp is safe as it is now.

I replaced the 6SC7 and 6J7 tubes tubes, the 6L6G and 5Y3G are as they
came and work well. One 6L6 had lower emission than the other, but
works very well. You may wish to experiment with 6L6s anyway.
