Hurricane Ike. Besides being the right thing to do, it will actually
help them to get back to work and indirectly you'll be helping the
economy.
Having said that, there are going to be numerous places to go to or
send money to to help. Some are better then others. I know of one

This is a group I have been a part of for a long time. The
administrators are putting something together right now. In short, we
are 6,000 strong of parrot head beach bums but we are all very active
both in our group and in our community. It will be the type of thing
where any donation will be 100% past along to those that need it. NO
ONE will take a penny for costs. If you wish to do something for
others, this may be the place you want to go to get involved.
I personally am going to put my boots and gloves on, show up and get
