What's the difference between AT4051 & AT4053

Other than the price, what is the main difference between
these two mics? From the specs, they seem to look awfully
similar.

They are the same mike, with different capsules. The 4053 is a hypercardioid,
and the 4051 is the cardioid. The 4049 is the omni version. You can, in
fact, buy one mike and get the various different capsules as options so
you can get multiple patterns.
