This is a very nice looking Stromberg Carlson AR-420 High Fidelity
Amplifier. I have only cleaned it up to assess the condition, and it
really looks great! This amp will need the caps to be gone through
and a general electrical restoration will be required. I was able to
validate that the transfomer taps DCR are in spec per SAMS (301-10). I
tested the tubes and all test good, however one of the 6L6�s has
slightly lower emission than the other. It still tests good though.
The output transformer is known for being of very high quality!
