FS: New 1996 Mits. 35" TV (35405) $1800 obo (WPB,FL)

I have a brand new 1996 Mitsubishi 35" TV, model number 35405. This set lists
for $2099 and retails usu for 1899 at the discounters. I now have two sets
and I need to get rid of one (got the second as a unknown christmas gift). I
am willing to sell this for $1800 obo (total savings over even a discounter is
$214).

This is the set with the corian top and active A/V network (allows the TV to
control the vcr without having to have the VCR out in sight, works on many
Mits VCRs).

The TV is unopened in the factory box. It was dropped off at my house on
12/15/95 and I have the receipt for the set.

Wouldn't $1899 - $1800 = $99? The TV sounds like a good deal - just check the
math next time :). Also, where can I find some people to give me gifts like
that?

You are assuming no tax on the purchase. I already paid the tax.

Minimum Retail Price with Tax
1899 * 1.06 =2012.94

MSRP with Tax
2099 * 1.06 =2224.94

I am asking $1800
2012.94 - 1800 = 212.94 Saved over Retail

2224.94 - 1800 = 424.94 saved over MSRP

Math checks out fine...:)
