I agree 100 percent with your comments on commercial recordings. Some
of the "old" Reiner recordings on RCA are vastly superior to most of
what is produced today. The SACDs I have purchased are disappointing
even with the surround channels. The highly touted Vanska efforts on
BIS are a disappointment too.
