Yeah, the unsightly foot-and-a-half dish. I've had Digital and Satellite.
I've had one instance where I've had reception trouble with sat, and that
was when a thunderstorm was parked about three miles to the south of my
house. The power went out shortly after that, so digital wouldn't have been
much good, either. I pay about 40 bucks a month for sat, to get the same
channels on digital cable, I'd have to pay about 65. The only real
disadvantage is that I don't get local channels on sat, so I had to buy an
aerial to get the networks. Just bought one of those TERK antenna that
attaches to your dish, has boosted gain that feeds off the power going to
the dish LNB, and alls well. To each his own. Mine is satellite.
