So "Last Resort" was doing just about as well as "Grimm" among the
18-49 year olds when it was canceled and "Revolution" is doing around
twice as well of both, especially "Last Resort".
In any event, a hour long show on a major broadcast network that gets
only 4.5 to 5 million total viewers per week would be in real trouble
if viewership falls lower than that.

I wonder if she's reacting to something off screen. That's something a
good director would notice and mention to her.

1.2 is not *close* to 1.7. That 1.2 would require a 40%+ increase in ratings just to pull even with the 1.7.

What's worse is the 'shiny squirrel' might only exist in her mind so
she could smile in the midst of watching her brother and mother be
tortured.

Could be, but it also could be that she is just having trouble keeping a straight face while delivering the dialog they have given her.

Janeway reset time itself killing everybody everywhere, but you raise an interesting point ... did she only kill everybody in our universe, or in the entire Trek multiverse as well? If the latter, then she killed an infinite number of people and wins, or at the very worst ties.

I made it through 10 minutes of Arrow. 2.5 eps of Revolution, maybe 3.5

episode of Mob Doctor and sampled some other crap.
I did get HBO, though, and the History Channel seems to be trying to renew

Multiple places, and I thought that it was brought up here, as well. The
other places I'm most likely to read something about the show are at the
Den of Geek and IGN sites. In any case, it wasn't just one isolated
comment from one person; there's been a pattern of such comments.

Yeah, I agree. Even if JLC hadn't come along and polluted last season,
it still would have been a boring and unoriginal year. And this season
has been just more of the same. If there were an overabundance of other
things that I was wanting to watch at this point, then NCIS would be the
first to go. But there's not, so I keep watching, although I don't
bother to record it and I'm often only half-watching while I do other
things. (And this is, without any doubt, the only show where I will
deliberately do that.)

And making me, for better or worse, far more patient than you. But to be
fair, ARROW is another show that's only on my viewing list because
there's simply such a dearth of good skiffy stuff out there at the
moment. Heck, I'm only watching seven shows a week, and at least two of
those would be dropped in an instant if there was an abundance of good
alternatives to replace them.

Generally speaking, I don't sample stuff. Either I know that I'm gonna
want to like it and see it do well, or I just stay away entirely.

I don't get HBO, but I can enjoy both GAME OF THRONES and TRUE BLOOD
thanks to friends who watch a lot more stuff than me and who have the
channel. Plus I recall reading here of at least one other upcoming show
on HBO that sounds really interesting.
As for HIST and the like, I've grown tired of looking for the occasional
pearl in the pig sty and rarely visit any of them, given that they all
seem to blur together these days. Talk about dumbing down...
