See ya later, Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Alex McCord and Cindy Barshop.
As Us Weekly reported on Thursday, the reality stars were fired from
"Real Housewives of New York City."
Their castmate Sonja Morgan — among the lucky ladies who weren't axed —
confirmed the news to Us at Thursday night's 50th Anniversary
Celebration of "Breakfast at Tiffany's" at Lincoln in NYC.

"I really haven't had time to digest it properly," Morgan, 47, said. "My
voicemail was filled up today...At first, I just thought it was the
usual rumors."
Morgan then spoke with her producer who gave her the bittersweet news —
she's still in, but Zarin, 47, Bensimon, 43, McCord, 37 and Barshop are
definitely out. "I've been invited back. I found out today last minute."

Morgan is bummed to say goodbye the quartet, but she explained
optimistically: "I feel like all seven of us are stars in our own right.
We had the best season ever, the greatest ratings for New York
'Housewives' ever."
(Rounding out the group are LuAnn de Lesseps and Ramona Singer.)
PHOTOS: Which cast is more outrageous — NYC or Beverly Hills?
"Whatever happens, everyone is a star in their own right. Obviously,
first choice is always to be asked back and have a choice. You like to
have a decision to make. But to not be asked back is sad, but nothing is
final. You never say never!"
And her exiting friends will be just fine, she added. "I have 100
percent faith in every girl that is on the show. We didn't get here for
any reason except we are all very talented and have a lot to share on
screen."
PHOTOS: Are these reality stars cursed?
She hasn't yet spoke to Zarin et al, but she plans to. "I'm going to
reach out and see and make sure they are happy. I'm sure that everybody
has plans. I'm not worried."
Her career suggestions for her pals: "I can see Alex and Simon [McCord]
having their own show with the kids doing all this freaky deaky things
they do in Brooklyn. And I could see Jill, sort of like Barbara Walters
having a talk show. And then I could see Kelly going off...her doing
fashion."
Report: 3 ladies let go from NYC 'Housewives'
