I watched:

Behind the Music: Pink

Ordinarily I turn stuff like this right off. After all, they talk to
the singers, and singers are really annoying when they talk. But you
know, I liked listening to Pink talk about herself.

Tsunami Aftermath

Suddenly I realize we have a new Christmas tradition, commemorating
that tsunami. It had the guy who plays Lightman on Lie to Me, being a
reporter.

Stargate Atlantis

They put Shepard up against the Id Monster from Forbidden Planet? Are
you kidding me? Well I suppose there were a lot of viewers who never
saw Forbidden Planet as of whenever this episode first came out. Of
course Shepard also did his version of Kirk and Miramanee in a rather
clever way, since while Shepard spent six months in the accelerated
time zone, only a few hourse passed outside. Really, in the Star Trek
episode, they spent an absurd amount of time trying to save that
planet. By the time it was over, all of Starfleet could have shown up
to save the generic Indians.

The Incredible Hulk

Nice twist as the apparent cliche deranged Vietnam veteran who wants
to shoot someone was never actually in Vietnam. Banner was...very
useless. Seriously, they could have left him out of the story, and it
wouldn't have been much different.

The Daily Show

Hanukkah at the White House, complete with silly big menorah "lit" by
Rahm Immanuel. This seques into making fun of Hannukah. "We didn't
have much oil, but it lasted like 3x as long as we thought it would."

James Franco on SNL on Demand. No, he can't sing. The kissing family and
the
Vincent Price (again) sketches were the best.

2 months total. It's within the boundaries established in the show that
it could take longer than that for help to arrive.

Saturday night is never a great night for tv anymore, and it seemed
especially dead last night with the Christmas specials over but special
programming that didn't appeal to me.

So I watched "Oliver!", having bought it cheap on DVD about a month
ago and saving it for a special occasion. I'm not sure I've seen the
whole thing since I saw it when it first came out in 1968, our elementary
school class going to see it with the teacher.

I remember some of the songs, but there is lots that I don't remember, and
some scenes are different from what I remember. I also remember it as
being kind of scary, Fagin and Bill Sykes, and the whole decrepit area of
London. It's not so scary now, but I can't believe we went as a grade
3 class to see it, it wasn't even near a holiday.

They don't make movies like that anymore, everyone suddenly breaking out
into song and dance, and the DVD included the overture at the beginning,
and the intermission bit.

I'm also surprised how young Jack Wilde looks, since even a few years
later he looked older in "Pufnstuf".

CATS 101:
Basic informartion about the traits and tendencies of various cat breeds.
Why did all the fun ones seem to be long-haired? Yeah, like I'm going to get
one of THEM with my cat allergies!

BAND OF BROTHERS.
A marathon.

REAL HOUSEWIVES OF OC:
A marathan, ending with Vickie "Truffle Hunter" Gunderson inviting all the
gals to join her during an insurance conference in Fort Lauderdale for an
all girl weekend, only to discover some of the husbands decided to come along.
They let the gals do their thing, but Truffle Hunter sulked and cried like
a six year old child about it. Meanwhile, everyone went out and didn't
notice her abscence. Apparently Truffle Hunter, not their rat-faced bum
of a son, is the cause of their marital problems.

SILENT LIBRARY
A marathon. A stupid game show set in a library in which a randonly-chosen
person in the group has to perform a stupid stunt while remaining quiet. I
am rather fond of the "Keep Away" game in which the guy has to get his hat
back from a female seven foot tall basketball player and a dwarf, who zapped
him with a taser before leaving.
