NBC BETS ON RENEWING 'LAS VEGAS' FOR A FIFTH HIGH-ROLLING SEASON
THROUGH 2007-08

BURBANK - February 27, 2007 - NBC has renewed its veteran drama series
"Las Vegas" (Fridays, 9-10 p.m. ET) for a fifth high-rolling season
through 2007-08, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President,
NBC Entertainment.

"The cast and producers have consistently given us what we want from
'Las Vegas' - pure entertainment - and we're looking forward to
another fun ride next season with the show," said Reilly.

This season, "Las Vegas" is averaging a 2.8 rating, 8 share in adults
18-49 and 9.0 million viewers, to rank #1 in the Friday 9-10 p.m. (ET)
hour in 18-49. "Las Vegas" has generated an 8 percent gain versus
NBC's year-ago non-sports rating in the time period.

From Gary Scott Thompson -- the writer of the hit film "The Fast and
the Furious" -- "Las Vegas" is a fast-paced, sexy drama that follows
an elite Las Vegas surveillance team charged with maintaining the
security of one of "Sin City's" largest resorts and casinos.

"Las Vegas," currently in it's fourth season, stars James Caan ("The
Godfather," "Misery"), Josh Duhamel ("All My Children"), Molly Sims
(MTV's "Starsky and Hutch"), Nikki Cox ("Nikki"), James Lesure ("For
Your Love") and Vanessa Marcil ("Beverly Hills, 90210").

Thompson serves as executive producer along with Gardner Stern (NBC's
"Law & Order," "NYPD Blue"), Justin Falvey ("Rescue Me") Darryl Frank
("Rescue Me"), Matt Pyken ("Skin") and Kim Newton ("The X-Files") for
this series from NBC Universal Television Studio and DreamWorks
Television.

Given how humongous and expensive the new Monetecito set is, it was a
foregone conclusion at the beginning of s3, when the set was
introduced that the show was certainly going to go at least five
seasons -- there was no way they were going to be able to amortize the
cost otherwise. IMO, they should have just announced a three-season
renewal when they destroyed the original set in the first place.

LORELAI: I am so done with plans. I am never, ever making one again.
It never works. I spend the day obsessing over why it didn't work
and what I could've done differently. I'm analyzing all my shortcomings
when all I really need to be doing is vowing to never, ever make a plan
ever again, which I'm doing now, having once again been the innocent
victim of my own stupid plans. God, I need some coffee.
