IIRC Tina was given the lead "Tonight" from WEST SIDE STORY--which led
to Rachel quitting the Glee Club that episode--but I don't remember if
she actually got to sing the entire song. If she didn't, then yes.

I thought it was a little precious too... you don't just gate-crash
another group's performance like that. Maybe in more informal
situations it would have been fine to join in, but they were pretty
much standing there performing, so it was a no-no IMHO.
For all the coincidence that babysitting might have had on giving
birth to Madonna's song, Madonna would never have been in that
situation she sang about. She listened to her parents and teachers to
avoid the stupid pitfalls of life, and found her sexuality to be a
marketable commodity. So by becoming that slutty media whore that you
know, she avoided the fates of slutty whores that the media warns us
about.
