Surprisingly little:
The Soup (recorded) - The episode from 02/21. Despite one pointless
cameo, this episode was mostly pretty good, with decent clips.
Gosh, is there anything more heartwarming than a story about 4 girls,
and their friendship, and their adventures with their "traveling
pants"?! (How are "traveling pants" different from "regular pants",
anyway?!...)
Yeah, that's right - I was desperate enough to procrastinate on
grading that I actually watched the "Traveling Pants" movies. I've
actually seen the first one before, and I only saw the last part of it
anyway, so I'll skip that one.
But I did sit through "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" (ABC Fam)
for the first time yesterday. It's interesting - it seems like they
skipped at least one summer(/book?) with this movie, bypassing the
obvious chance to do a trilogy (apparently, they weren't going to hold
this cast together through 3 movies, as it's been apparent that at least
some of these actresses don't like each other in media interviews...).
Anyway, the second one is weaker than the first, I thought, because
the second one is *way* too America Ferrera-centric (they should have
just called this one "Latina Sister of the Traveling Pants"!), to the
point where I swear Ferrera sidekick Rachel Nichols (gosh, I think she's
been in virtually everything I've watched over the last 2 weeks - "G.I.
Joe", "The Woods", "Continuum", and now this!!) got as much screentime
as the other three ostensible "leads". Further, Amber Tamblyn got a
totally bogus story in this one (unlike the first one). Interestingly,
Lucy Hale (very young here, looking as unrecognizable in this as she did
on "Ned's Declassified..." - she must have "aged" later in life, by the
time she was in "Privileged"...) is in this one, playing Alexis Bledel's
sister, Effie, a character I think was totally missing from the first
movie!
The NCAA Tournament Selection Show - Oregon got totally, completely, and
ridiculously *hosed* here - in fact, the whole Pac-10 did. That's OK -
UCLA usually does well when these jokers predict that they'll go out in
the first round... [eg]
Once Upon a Time - I thought this episode was actually a good one,
because the heavy use of the flashbacks to explain the background Ethan
Embry's character (and the "beginnings" of Storybrooke) was actually a
good choice for once (John Pyper-Ferguson shows up again! - he's been
busy this TV season!!). I'm still trying to figure out who Embry's
character was talking to on the phone in an earlier episode, though...
Revenge - And this is getting silly again. Firstly, I could really do
without the introduction of RealAmanda's "foster brother" (I don't care
about this character!...), though the specific background on how Amanda
was put in juvie was actually welcome. Secondly, the show once again
laughably moves the goalpoasts, with Amanda about to take real revenge
on the Graysons (finally!!) but at the last second being thwarted by a
heretofore unreferenced "super-hacker" who can put even Nolan to shame.
Come on, guys - it's like you're not even *trying*... >:/
Recorded for later: Army Wives (I figured I'd watch the Claudia Joy
funeral episode, as at least Pamela (Brigid Brannagh) is set to
return...), The Mentalist, and Vikings (I'll be able to watch a
mini-marathon of this over Spring Break! :> ).

"Surf-crazed aliens... Of course." - Amber, "Alien Surf Girls",
Episode #1.1, "Wipeout".
Wait a minute... "Of course"?! "*Of course*"?!! Did I miss a step here??!!
