I don't usually go for the gossip side of celebrities and not to find humour
in domestic violence but their is something so apropriate about this cinema
verite. Why could I think of his mug shot in terms of the episode where he
is brought beofre the judge he was dating? And somehow I imagine the wife as
Chelsea who Charlie finally has enough of.

Aspen, Colo. - The Associated Press Published on Friday, Dec. 25, 2009
6:57PM EST Last updated on Friday, Dec. 25, 2009 10:33PM EST

A police spokeswoman in Aspen, Colo., says Charlie Sheen has posted bond and
been released from jail hours after he was arrested in an alleged domestic
violence case.

Stephanie Dasaro says Sheen posted $8,500 (U.S.) bond Friday after speaking
with a county judge and was advised on the conditions of his release.

The star of CBS's Two and a Half Men was taken into custody on suspicion of
second-degree assault and menacing, both felonies, along with criminal
mischief, a misdemeanour, Dasaro said.

Police arrested the 44-year-old actor after responding to a 911 call
regarding a report of domestic violence at 8:34 a.m. at a historic house up
for sale for $7.5-million. The alleged victim in the case, whose name was
withheld, did not have to be taken to the hospital, police said.

Dasaro declined to name the accuser, citing a department policy prohibiting
the identification of potential victims in domestic violence cases.

Sheen's publicist Stan Rosenfield released a statement saying, "It would
benefit everyone not to jump to any conclusion."

Police said Sheen will be held without bond until his first court appearance
in this ski resort town about 320 kilometres west of Denver. The court was
closed for Christmas, and no date for his appearance has been set.

Jail officials said Sheen wasn't available to comment. After-hours messages
left for his managers weren't immediately returned.

Sheen is the son of actor Martin Sheen. He is married to Brooke Mueller
Sheen, who gave birth to the couple's first children, twin boys, in March.
They married in May, 2008, following Sheen's bitter divorce from Denise
Richards.

Charlie Sheen's screen credits include Platoon , Wall Street and the Hot
Shots! movies. He nearly died of a drug overdose in 1998 but received
court-ordered rehabilitation.

And it never occurred to you that not all threads show up on all servers at
the same time?

You looked? At least one article from that thread should have been on your
server already, even if there were gaps.

Given all the people in this group who are just plain too lazy
to check for previous threads before posting, why on earth are
you guys trashing someone who *did*??

We have gotten so accustomed to most Usenet traffic being carried
via the Internet that we assume that postings will show up on all
servers quickly. Yes, it's unusual for several hours to pass, but
it's hardly unheard of.

Well, it was over five hours.

I don't know Mr. march, whether he looked or not, or was likely to. It
was a truculent reply or two that hooked me.

Like I said, unusual, but not unheard of.

He said he did. Since he is not one of our known trolls, I see
no reason to disbelieve him.

By whom? I posted something on topic I did not see posted elsewhere, as
hard as that seems for some to believe. When a 'John Williams' saw fit to
point out it had already generated a thread, I responded witha n equal level
of.... truculence.

Now to end all this: I did not see a thread before starting a new one.
Accept that as true or not. Your choice.

I hear Charlie tried to blame this on some grande conspiracy to silence him

You might want to learn the proper use of those terms so you don't make
an arse of yourself in the future, "trotsky".

It is simply breathtaking to watch the glee and abandon with which
the liberal media and the Angry Left have been attempting to turn
our military victory in Iraq into a second Vietnam quagmire. Too bad
for them, it's failing.

Yes, you are right. How's this: I made no errors, and you're an idiot.
