Mileage varies obviously. And Kim Coates just to name one is hardly
unremarkable.

The only thing that gave me pause was Luane's killing. Everything else
this season has arisen from the characters and their response to
circumstances not the plot contrivances that The Shield went through. 2
episodes ago I was finding it hard to take but the last 2 episodes have
begun the process of the club turning it around. Like I said IMHO its
been very well constructed and thought out. Even Zobelle's weakness has
been something that has been there from early on. The thing with the drag
queen was something that no-one saw coming even the Sheriff.

The last 2 episodes have already done exactly that IMHO.
