Terri Schiavo was too far gone and Nancy Grace ('Nancy Grace' CNN
Headline News) was wrong, wrong. Will Pyscho Bitch admit it on the air?

This would be two days in a row, wouldn't it? She didn't take the MJ
verdict well, if I heard correctly.

I was watching her show on CourtTV when the very cute Savannah Guthrie
announced that a verdict has been reached and will announced in an hour.

Nancy Grace was like a kid the night before Christmas morning god she
was so excited. She was convinced that meant a verdict of guilty. Her
thinking was the jurors would believe the youth minister who had once
been molested and find Jackson guilty on that basis.

She literally looked orgasmic when Guthrie said that the jurors were not
looking at Jackson. Grace seemed to believe that could only mean they
found him guilty - even though a guest said that it could just mean the
jury was looking at the judge while he was reading the verdict. She
ignored that guest.

I really wished the camera stayed on Grace when the verdict was
announced but nope she had to dash of at 5:15 for her 8pm show and
allowed Catherine Crier to take over.

Grace really though took it out on the jury foreman on her 8pm show.

lol That I can believe (the pre-verdict reading orgasmic look), but it's
still gross to tie the word "orgasm" and the name Nancy Grace together
in one sentence. :-D

I don't have a clue. Her "guilty until proven innocent, and even then I
don't believe it" couldn't be more disgusting.

That never seemed to work when she was a prosecutor. I hear her track
record was abysmal.

each year more of her cases have been overturned, but she did get the
convictions. The problem is that she bent the law to get many of the
convictions since she seems to have believed that everyone that goes to
trial must be guilty. So it is okay to do anything to get the
conviction.

And the bitch would use it. lol In fact, if it ended up blowing her up
in the face (pardon the pun), she'd either not admit it or make someone
a scapegoat.

Speaking of political spectrum, I enjoyed seeing Tucker Carlson on
Crossfire and his PBS show. His new program on MSNBC is a lost
cause as a result of the cohosts. Those two are duds.

I've only ever seen like 5 minutes of her show by accident. I watched for
a little bit longer, because I couldn't believe she wasn't having some
sort of mental collapse on air, and I was waiting to see her yanked off
screen. (I still remember Jessica Savitch.) Since then I have heard a lot
more about her, and I really, *really*, *REALLY* want Jon Stewart to guest
on her show to see if he'll take a swing at her. (Hey, she makes Crossfire
look like the "McNeil/Lehrer Report.")

She satisfies the bloodlust people have for revenge. The pro-death
penalty types who need to have "closure", whatever that is. She
appeals to the ignorant masses, like Fox News Channel.

Apologize for switching topics, but did Jessica have an on-screen melt down
or problems on air? I really liked her, and remember reading about personal
problems after her death, but was not aware of this. TIA...

lol That's Nancy Grace perfectly put (mental collapse on air). That's
why she'll always be Psycho Bitch to me. She reminds me so very much of
Melanie Hutsell (from 'Saturday Night Live') and her huffy "Marcia,
Marcia, Marcia" Jan Brady impression. If Mel was still on SNL, she could
do a GREAT Nancy Grace impression! Hell, make a total primetime sitcom
about a Nancy Grace-type w/ Melanie working as a former
lawyer-turned-court show-host.

Not always. When they are, it's because they feel that having
violated someone else's right to life, one forfeits their own.

On..(quickly goes and checks web for the date)..Oct 3,1983, Ms. Savitch
gave a primetime news update, which I saw. I was 14 and desperately in
love with her in the way only a 14-year-old boy can be. The sight is
seared in my mind as she went off the rails completely. According to
whichever story you choose to believe, she was a) drunk, b) suffering a
nervous breakdown, c) high, d) suffering from a head injury, e) high
because of medication she was taking for said head injury or f) some
combination of a-e.

Perhaps it was just a new journalism technique.

(To give you an idea of how well her career and personal life were going
at the time, option e) was the official position of her agent, and two
weeks later she was dead because her date had gone the Ted Kennedy
driving school.)

Thanks so much, for reliving this *traumatic* experience from your youth.
;) I can actually, still remember being that young and enamored of other
celebrities, and how that might have affected me.

Don't know how I missed it, must have been working day and night around that
time, monthly closings, etc.. It's a shame she flamed out so early in her
life and career. Thanks again, for looking up the date, and the details. :)
